You are warmly invited...

On Saturday 12th February we will be hosting a Heart Warming Ball Fundraiser to promote heart health and raise funds for an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) for the studio. Bring your family and friends for a fun night of dancing, games and silent auctions. Wear a touch of red on the night to support this worthy cause!

How are you prepared for sudden cardiac arrest?

An estimated 15,000 people will suffer a cardiac arrest in Australia every year. Certain types of Cardiac Arrest only respond effectively to defibrillation and if delivered quickly, up to 75% can survive. Success declines at a rate of 10% with each minute delayed.

An Automated External Defibrillator is a lifesaving piece of medical equipment used in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. The biggest advantage of an AED is simple – it could save a life. AEDs are key to increasing the survival rate from sudden cardiac arrest. They deliver an electrical shock to the heart to restore the normal rhythm. The earlier a defibrillator is used, the better the chances of survival.
